Occupation escalates its incursions in the West Bank and arrests dozens daily
SadaNews - The Israeli occupation forces launched a wide campaign of incursions on Sunday morning, targeting cities, towns, and camps in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem. This included home raids, arrests, and field searches, as well as road closures and the establishment of military checkpoints, while settlers continued their assaults on citizens in several areas.
In the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate, the occupation forces invaded the village of al-Mughayer and the town of Sinjl in the northeast of the governorate. They also carried out a campaign of raids and arrests in the village of Dura al-Qari, and raided a house in the vicinity of the Am'ari camp in the city of Al-Bireh.
At the same time, armed settlers stormed the vicinity of a house in the eastern area of the town of Turmus Ayya.
The incursions extended to the Tubas Governorate, where the occupation forces raided the city of Tubas and carried out searches inside one of the houses, while they invaded the city of Nablus from Al-Tour checkpoint, deploying their vehicles in several neighborhoods, including Faisal Street and the Upper Cooperation Area, before storming the Jinid area west of the city and proceeding to vandalize the memorial of the martyr Muhammad Abu Bakr.
In the town of Beita, south of Nablus, residents confronted an attack launched by settlers on the Haraiq area.
In the Tulkarm Governorate, the occupation forces invaded the village of Qafin in the north of the governorate and raided several houses, as well as storming the Aqbat Jabr camp south of Jericho.
In the Hebron Governorate, settlers closed the entrance to the "Ashkara" area south of Yatta with earth mounds, while the occupation forces raided a house during their incursion into the town of Beit Ummar in the northern governorate.
In occupied Jerusalem, the occupation forces closed the Al-Jib checkpoint north of the city, which hindered the movement of citizens. They also stormed the Qalandiya camp and fired illumination bombs in the skies over the Al-Kasarat neighborhood adjacent to the camp, amid ongoing tension in the region.
