Netanyahu Urges His Ministers to Stop Criticizing Trump, and Ben Gvir Rebels: "We Must Know How to Say No to Him"
SadaNews: The Prime Minister of the Israeli occupation, Benjamin Netanyahu, has requested his ministers to completely refrain from making any personal criticisms of U.S. President Donald Trump, in a clear attempt to contain the escalating diplomatic crisis between Tel Aviv and Washington.
This strict directive comes after Israeli officials expressed serious concerns regarding the Trump administration and its negotiating team, accusing them of misinterpreting the true ideology driving Iran and Hezbollah, resulting in widespread frustration within Israeli political and security circles, especially after Washington reached a memorandum of understanding with Tehran, which the occupation fears will be exploited by the latter to rebuild its economy and enhance its military capabilities in exchange for limited nuclear concessions.
National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir did not comply with Netanyahu's directives; he launched a sharp public attack on the U.S. president, stating that the Israeli leadership should know how to tell the U.S. president "no" when it conflicts with their interests, describing the recent ceasefire decision as a grave mistake.
Ben Gvir stressed his opposition to any diplomatic pathway, asserting that no negotiations should be held with the Lebanese government as long as Hezbollah is present there, warning that the party would attempt to execute another attack similar to October 7 against Israel within a few years if it is not fully deterred.
