The Palestinian National Council Participates in the Arab-Chinese Parliamentary Meeting to Enhance Joint Cooperation
SadaNews - A delegation from the Palestinian National Council is participating in the Arab-Chinese parliamentary meeting in the People's Republic of China, titled "Enhancing Cooperation Among Legislative Bodies and Building the Sino-Arab Community for a Shared Future".
The delegation includes His Excellency Minister Moyad Shabaan as the head of the delegation, with Dr. Salwa Ramadan and Ms. Asma Al-Qusrawi Al-Masri as members.
During the meeting, Shabaan delivered a speech on behalf of the council, expressing the Palestinian leadership's appreciation for the historical and solid relations between Palestine and China, emphasizing the depth of the political and popular ties between the two sides, as embodied by China's steadfast and supportive positions regarding the legitimate national rights of the Palestinian people.
Shabaan reviewed the positions of His Excellency President Mahmoud Abbas in confronting the occupation and his ongoing efforts to rally international support to protect the Palestinian people and strengthen their resilience on their land.
In his speech, Shabaan focused on the importance of deepening the relationship, pointing to avenues for bilateral cooperation between Palestine and China in the fields of development and capacity building, considering it a fundamental pillar for building a more advanced and prosperous Palestinian society, in alignment with both sides' vision to develop a solid strategic partnership that benefits both friendly peoples.
