Abu Redina: Israel's War on the Palestinian People in Gaza and the West Bank Will Not Achieve Security or Stability for Anyone
SadaNews - Nabil Abu Redina, the official spokesperson for the Palestinian presidency, stated that Israel's ongoing war against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including Jerusalem, will not achieve security or stability for anyone, nor will it grant any legitimacy to any measures taken by the occupying authorities.
He added that the continuation of the Israeli aggression on Tubas for the third consecutive day, alongside the aggression in Jenin and its camp, and Tulkarem and its camps, will keep the region in a whirlpool of violence and escalation. He emphasized that the occupying government is challenging the entire world through its insistence on violating international law and the resolutions of international legitimacy.
Abu Redina stressed that the occupying government is seeking, through these practices and others, to undermine efforts to achieve a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and to stop the assaults in the West Bank, thereby ending any chance of achieving security and stability in the region, and commencing a political process based on international legitimacy to end the occupation.
He called on the U.S. administration to intervene immediately and decisively to compel Israel to stop its open war against the Palestinian people and to halt the terrorism of settlers, which threatens to ignite the region and undermine the U.S. president's efforts to end tensions and escalation.
He affirmed that the Gaza Strip is an inseparable part of the one homeland and the one Palestinian state, and its unity with the West Bank and East Jerusalem is a fixed and non-negotiable right.
