Orban Discusses Energy Supplies and the Ukraine War with Putin
SadaNews - Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said today (Friday) that he will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow later today to discuss oil and gas supplies to Hungary as well as peace efforts in Ukraine, according to the Reuters news agency.
Orban has maintained close ties with Moscow despite the war in neighboring Ukraine.
Hungary still largely depends on Russian energy even as the European Union seeks to reduce its reliance on it.
