Settlers Establish New Outpost at Al-Auja Spring North of Jericho
SadaNews - A group of settlers established a new colonial outpost this evening, Tuesday, within the Al-Auja Bedouin community, north of Jericho.
Hassan Melihat, the general supervisor of the "Baidar" organization for the defense of Bedouin rights, explained to the official agency that the settlers set up initial structures on the ruins of an abandoned house in the community and constructed metal shacks and corners within the site.
Thus, the number of outposts in the community and its surroundings rises to 4, in a move considered part of the attempts to expand settlement that threaten Bedouin communities, according to the organization.
