Mustafa Discusses With Several Foreign Ministers and European Officials Efforts to Stabilize the Ceasefire in the Gaza Strip
SadaNews - Prime Minister Muhammad Mustafa met on the sidelines of the donor conference for Palestine in the Belgian capital, Brussels, with several foreign ministers and European officials.
Mustafa briefed those officials on the situation and developments on the ground in Palestine, discussing the importance of intensifying international efforts to stabilize the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and implement Security Council Resolution 2803, to commence the recovery and reconstruction process in the region, and to exert serious pressure to allow the entry of aid and relief supplies without restrictions. He also called for halting the aggression of the occupation army and settlers in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, and for Israel to release the withheld Palestinian funds.
Mustafa reviewed the implementation of the institutional reform and development program, which includes several sectors, affirming the commitment to this program, which is a national demand, to enhance financial policies and public financial management, strengthen the governance system and the rule of law, improve the legislative and regulatory environment for investment and business, and elevate the level of essential services provided to the Palestinians.
The meetings included French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot, Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares, German Foreign Minister Johan Wadephol, European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs Josep Borrell, UK Development Minister Gisela Stewart, and EU Commissioner for Mediterranean Affairs Dubravka Suica.
