Occupation Forces Blow Up Cave and Arrest Citizen in the Dhanaba Suburb East of Tulkarem
SadaNews: The Israeli occupation forces blew up an old cave dating back to before 1967, located in a garden amidst the homes of the Khreisha family in the Mount Sayyed area of the Dhanaba suburb east of Tulkarem early this morning, Monday.
Local sources reported that a massive explosion was heard at five o'clock in the morning, echoing throughout the city and its suburbs and two refugee camps, causing damage to several nearby homes, shattering windows and doors, damaging roof tiles, and causing tree branches to fall due to the intensity of the blast, with no injuries reported.
Ibrahim Khreisha stated to the official agency that the occupation forces had stormed his house and the homes of his brothers Omar and Mohammad Khreisha at midnight, holding the residents for more than three hours before forcing them to leave, under the pretext that they would conduct an explosion in the garden, and that they could return to their homes after hearing the explosion.
He added that the occupation soldiers conducted extensive searches of the houses and their surroundings accompanied by police dogs, and arrested his son Khalil Ibrahim Khreisha (26 years old), a veterinarian, taking him to an unknown location.
This attack comes within the framework of the ongoing aggression against the city of Tulkarem and its camps "Tulkarem and Nour Shams" for the 295th consecutive day, amid reinforced military presence and a blockade preventing residents of the camps from reaching their homes, with continuous gunfire being heard in the area.
