Israel: Any decision regarding Hamas fighters will be made in cooperation with the Trump administration
SadaNews - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu received U.S. envoy Jared Kushner today in Israel to discuss those trapped in Rafah and the next phase of the U.S. plan for Gaza, while Hamas announced its readiness to positively engage in resolving the crisis of those stranded in Rafah.
A spokesman for the Israeli government stated that Netanyahu and Kushner discussed the disarmament of Hamas and ensuring that the movement has no role in Gaza again. He added that any decision regarding the trapped Hamas members will be made in coordination with the administration of President Donald Trump.
Meanwhile, the Israeli broadcasting authority reported that there is currently no intention for Israel to allow the exit of those trapped in Rafah.
