Colonists Burn Olive Trees in Majdal Bani Fallah South of Nablus
SadaNews - Colonists burned olive trees in the village of Majdal Bani Fallah, south of Nablus, this evening, Sunday.
The head of the Majdal Bani Fallah village council, Rami Nassar, informed the official agency that colonists from the new settlement outpost burned dozens of olive trees spread over vast areas of the southern lands of the village.
He pointed out that the colonists, protected by the occupation army, carried out acts of vandalism at the entrance of the village and prevented residents from extinguishing the fires. He noted that the new settlement outpost was established about five months ago on village lands, where the colonists set up several mobile homes "caravans" and seized dozens of dunams to cultivate them.
According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, occupation forces and colonists carried out a total of 2,350 attacks during the month of October, where the occupation army executed 1,584 attacks, while the colonists carried out 766 attacks. Most of these attacks occurred in the governorates of: Ramallah and Al-Bireh with 542 attacks, Nablus with 412 attacks, and Hebron with 401 attacks. These incidents varied between direct physical assaults, uprooting trees, burning fields, preventing olive pickers from reaching their lands, confiscating properties, and demolishing houses and agricultural facilities.
