Pakistan Rejects Claims by Indian TV Channel About Sending Troops to Gaza
SadaNews - The Pakistani Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has firmly rejected the propaganda broadcast by an Indian television channel, which claimed that Pakistan is preparing to send 20,000 soldiers to Gaza under the supervision of Western countries and Israel, according to the German news agency.
In a statement, the ministry condemned the report, describing it as "fabricated and malicious," reaffirming that it is part of a broader disinformation campaign aimed at tarnishing Pakistan's reputation and distorting its principled position in foreign policy, as reported by the Pakistani newspaper "The Nation" on Friday.
The Indian television channel also claimed that Pakistan has removed the "no recognition of Israel" clause from its passports. The Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs denied this, reaffirming that Pakistan has never recognized Israel nor is it considering any form of military cooperation or contact with it.
The Directorate General of Immigration and Passports stated that Pakistani passports remain valid for all countries except Israel, in line with the country's original and unchanging policy.
The Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized the country's steadfast position, stating that Pakistan's stance on Israel is clear; it has never recognized Israel and continues to stand firmly for the Palestinian people's right to self-determination.
