Poll: Majority of Israelis Support Annexation of the West Bank and View Israel as a Dependent State of America

SadaNews - A public opinion poll published on Sunday revealed that a majority of Israelis support the annexation of the occupied West Bank, which Tel Aviv refers to as "imposing sovereignty," and believe that Tel Aviv is a dependent state of the United States.

This was indicated by a poll, the results of which were published by the Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation (KAN 11) on Sunday evening, showing that the Likud party, led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, is leading in elections taking place today.

Participants in the poll were asked whether they support "Israeli sovereignty" over the occupied West Bank, with 36% responding "in support," while 32% answered "in opposition," and another 32% replied "I don’t know."

When participants were asked whether they agree with the claim that Israel has become a "dependent state of America," 48% responded "agree," 29% "disagree," while 23% said, "I don’t know."

According to the poll, if elections were held today, the Likud party, led by Netanyahu, would be the largest party in the Knesset with 27 seats, followed by Naftali Bennett's party with 21 seats.

The third-largest party, the "Democrats" led by Yair Golan, would secure 11 seats.

Both "Yesh Atid" and "Shas" would receive 10 seats, while "Yisrael Beiteinu" would get 9 seats.

The "Yashar" party, chaired by Gadi Eizenkot, would receive 8 seats, while "Yahadut HaTorah" and "Otzma Yehudit" would each receive 7 seats.

The Joint List and the Arab List for Change would each gain 5 seats, as would the Unified List.

Neither "Kahol Lavan," chaired by Benny Gantz, nor the "Religious Zionism" led by Bezalel Smotrich would surpass the electoral threshold.
