Liberman: Trump is a dear friend, but we must have the ability to say 'no'

SadaNews - Avigdor Liberman, the head of the Yisrael Beiteinu party, said that U.S. President Donald Trump is a dear friend, but we must have the ability to say "no" and defend our interests.

Liberman's remarks came at a time when top U.S. officials are making consecutive visits to Tel Aviv in an effort to manage the ceasefire agreement regarding Gaza and to monitor it.

 

An Israeli official commented, as published by Yedioth Ahronoth, on the United States sending its senior officials to Israel one after the other to "monitor" the Gaza agreement and Netanyahu, saying: "U.S. intervention in what is happening in the region is breaking all records."..
