Injuries and Arrests as Occupation Forces Storm Nablus and Qalandia in Jerusalem
SadaNews - Five citizens were injured at least by the gunfire of Israeli occupation forces this evening, Wednesday, following their storming of the city of Nablus and besieging a house.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its teams dealt with three injuries from live bullets, in addition to an injury to a child from bullet shrapnel, and they were transported to the hospital.
Local sources reported that a special force from the occupation army infiltrated al-Rahibat Street in the city, besieging a house there, followed by the storming of a large number of occupation vehicles.
Sources added that the occupation forces fired bullets, sound bombs, and teargas towards citizens in the surrounding streets and in the Martyrs' Roundabout area in the city center.
It was noted that the occupation forces besieged the Nablus Municipal Fire Department, evacuated the young men from inside the building, stormed the Palestine Workers' Union headquarters, held those inside, and abused them while conducting field investigations.
Meanwhile, several residents suffered from suffocation due to the occupation forces firing teargas canisters towards the homes of citizens close to the separation wall in Qalandia village, north of occupied Jerusalem.
A local source reported that soldiers stationed near the wall fired a barrage of teargas canisters towards the homes of citizens, resulting in several residents suffering from suffocation, who were treated on site.
The occupation forces deliberately target the residential neighborhoods adjacent to the separation wall built on the lands of Qalandia from time to time, endangering the lives and properties of citizens and exacerbating their daily suffering.
