Civil Defense in Gaza: 9,500 Missing in the Strip
SadaNews: The spokesman for the Civil Defense in Gaza, Mahmoud Basal, announced that the number of missing persons in the sector has reached 9,500, amid the ongoing difficult humanitarian conditions due to the Israeli war on Gaza.
The spokesman explained that the Civil Defense teams are working around the clock for search and rescue, in cooperation with the relevant authorities, emphasizing the difficulty of accessing some areas due to severe destruction and the disruption of essential services.
He added that efforts are ongoing to locate the missing persons and provide assistance to those affected, calling on residents to cooperate and report any information that may help in search and rescue operations.
In the context of efforts to aid the residents of the Strip, humanitarian aid trucks lined up this morning, Sunday, at the Kerem Shalom and Al-Awja crossings, in preparation for their entry into the Gaza Strip.
It is expected that around 400 trucks loaded with food, medical supplies, and basic needs will be allowed to enter, as part of the efforts aimed at alleviating the difficult humanitarian conditions faced by the residents of the sector.
