UK: Hamas Cannot Have a Place in the Future of Palestine
SadaNews - The British Foreign Office emphasized that the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) cannot have a place in the future of Palestine and must release the Israeli detainees immediately.
It added that it made it clear to Israeli Foreign Minister Gidon Sa'ar that he and his government should not annex parts of the West Bank.
It continued, "We have been clear that recognizing the State of Palestine is the best way to respect the security of Israel as well as that of the Palestinians."
For his part, French President Emmanuel Macron stated in an interview with the American CBS network, broadcasted on Sunday, that his country conditions the release of the hostages held by Hamas in Gaza for establishing an embassy in Palestine, on the eve of Paris' recognition of the State of Palestine.
