Russia Denies Its Fighters Violated Estonian Airspace
SadaNews - The Russian Ministry of Defense stated early this morning (Saturday) that its fighter aircraft did not violate Estonian airspace and that they flew over the neutral waters of the Baltic Sea on their way from northwestern Russia to the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad on the Baltic Sea.
The ministry added in a post on "Telegram" about three MiG-31 fighter jets that they "conducted the flight in full accordance with international rules governing airspace, without violating the borders of other countries, which was confirmed by independent inspections."
It continued, "The Russian aircraft did not deviate from their agreed route during the flight and did not violate Estonian airspace."
