Hamas in Message to the Arab Islamic Summit in Doha: We Look Forward to Urgent Measures to Stop the Genocidal War in Gaza

SadaNews - Hamas stated that it looks forward to collectively embarking on urgent measures aimed at stopping the genocidal war in Gaza, considering the rescue of victims and preventing further bleeding as a top priority, by forming an Arab-international coalition to stop the genocide, which will pressure the occupation and its supporters with all possible means to end the genocidal war.

It added in an open letter to the Arab Islamic summit convening in Doha that utilizing all Arab pressure tools, including activating the joint defense agreement, leveraging oil as a weapon, imposing comprehensive Arab sanctions on the occupying state, and urgent movement with the international community to impose severe sanctions on the Israeli entity to compel it to immediately halt the genocide and lift the unjust siege on the Gaza Strip.

It emphasized the necessity of providing urgent humanitarian aid to our besieged people in the Gaza Strip, particularly to hospitals, medical clinics, civil defense, and the displaced within the sector, securing tents and ready-made houses, and establishing a reconstruction fund.

It stressed the importance of unifying the Arab and Islamic position in facing the ongoing Israeli aggression against our nation, agreeing on a joint action plan that includes a basket of Arab-Islamic sanctions against the occupying state and the supporting and partnering countries, entities, and companies, including severing all forms of relations with this usurping entity that not only threatens but openly assaults a significant number of countries in the region and their populations, brazenly threatening their national security, and behaves like a rogue terrorist state that does not adhere to the law.

It indicated the need to adopt a unified strategy to protect Jerusalem from judaization, the Al-Aqsa Mosque from division, and the West Bank from annexation, displacement, and uprooting.

It confirmed strengthening Arab and Islamic solidarity to reinforce unity and assert that the major issues of the nation should not be left vulnerable to massacres and Israeli aggressions amid discussions about the so-called "Greater Israel" dream which aims to control Arab land and dominate the region.

It stated that our Palestinian people, while suffering patiently on their land, look to you today with eyes of hope and expectation, trusting that you will not allow the blood of their children to cry out alone to the world.

It added that the summit convened in Doha today represents a historic opportunity to elevate the voice of the nation, affirm its unity, and champion the values of justice and human dignity.
