The Occupation Continues Its Aggression Against Towns and Villages in Jerusalem Governorate

SadaNews - The Israeli occupation forces continue their aggression against towns and villages in the Jerusalem governorate since the morning of this Monday, amidst a military siege imposed on several towns.

In this context, the occupation forces stormed several towns northwest of Jerusalem, carrying out raids and arrests, during which they fired a large number of tear gas canisters. They invaded the town of Qatana, arresting a number of young men after storming a residential building, while firing tear gas intensively and preventing ambulances from reaching one of the homes.

The occupation forces also stormed the town of Biddu, closing its main entrance (the tunnel) connecting it to the town of Al-Jib, which hindered the movement of citizens and prevented them from entering or exiting, noting that it is the only main road for about 70,000 citizens in the area. They fired live ammunition and sound bombs during their storming of the town of Biddu, with no injuries reported.

Those forces raided a house in the town of Al-Qubeiba, with no reports of arrests.

Later, the occupation forces invaded the town of Al-Ram north of occupied Jerusalem, and deployed their military vehicles in its streets, with no reports of arrests or raids. They also stormed the town of Abu Dis southeast of occupied Jerusalem and positioned themselves in several main streets within the town.

Eyewitnesses reported that the occupation forces brutally assaulted one of the young men during the incursion, while citizens documented the incident through videos circulated on social media.

The Israeli occupation forces had closed all entrances to occupied Jerusalem and the surrounding villages and towns earlier today, following a shooting incident that resulted in the death and injury of several Israelis.

The occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the Qalandiya refugee camp north of Jerusalem, stopping and searching citizens and abusing them, and also stormed the camp.
