Widespread Reinforcement After the Operation.. The Occupation Deploys 4 Battalions in Jerusalem and Strengthens Its Forces in the West Bank
SadaNews - The Israeli occupying army said that its forces have deployed 4 battalions at the site of the Jerusalem operation and that they are besieging towns in the West Bank to pursue what they described as "suspects".
The occupying army also stated that it has reinforced its forces in the Jerusalem area and is conducting a wide search for those it described as "accomplices" to the shooters involved in the operation.
The Israeli army radio confirmed that the two shooters in Jerusalem came from the villages of Qabiba and Qatana in Ramallah and have no prior security records.
For its part, "Israel Hayom" reported that the Israeli army has decided to strengthen its forces in the West Bank to prevent the execution of further operations.
Shortly before, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office announced that the Prime Minister is assessing the situation with leaders of the security establishment following the shooting operation in Jerusalem.
The Israeli army radio also mentioned that a meeting is being held between leaders in the army and police to evaluate the situation.
Israeli media reported an increase in the death toll from the Jerusalem operation to 6 people, adding that the latest statistics indicate 6 dead and 6 injured, with the injuries classified as serious (2), moderate (3), and light (3) in the Jerusalem operation.
