After setting fire near Netanyahu's house.. Smotrich demands punishment for protesters in Israel
SadaNews - Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich stated that those who ignite fires in the streets of Jerusalem are a chaotic minority seeking to spark a civil war and must be severely punished.
He added: "Enough with the softening of words, these are not families of prisoners, nor protesters, nor even activists; they are a small group of violent anarchists seeking to ignite the state and incite hatred and civil war."
He continued: "They must be condemned and held accountable strictly, the overwhelming majority of the Israeli people are united in the pursuit of destroying Hamas and recovering the prisoners."
Meanwhile, the leader of the National Unity Party in Israel, Benny Gantz, stated that protests and solidarity with the families of prisoners is a democratic right and a moral obligation for every citizen.
