Trump: Gaza War Harms Israel and No One Has Done More for Tel Aviv Than I Have
SadaNews - Former U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed that the Gaza war is harming Israel, which will force it to end, indicating that Tel Aviv has "lost" its influence and previous ability to pressure political circles in Washington due to the ongoing fighting in the besieged enclave.
Trump said in an interview with the American website "Daily Caller" broadcast on Monday night: "They will have to end this war, and there is no doubt that it harms Israel."
He added, "Israel may win the war, but it is not gaining influence in the world of public relations, and that is harmful to it."
Trump noted that "Israel was the strongest lobbying group he had seen 15 years ago and had complete control over Congress, but now it has lost that," as he put it.
He also stated that "no one has done more for Israel than he has," including recent strikes on Iran targeting nuclear sites during the 12-day war between Tehran and Tel Aviv.
