
Injuries and Arrests During Widespread Raids in the West Bank
SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces launched a widespread raid this morning, Tuesday, across various areas of the West Bank, resulting in arrests, confrontations, and injuries.
Nablus
Israeli occupation forces assaulted a citizen this morning, Tuesday, and arrested 13 others during raids in the villages of Kafr Qalil, Tal, Asira al-Shamaliyah, and Qusra in the Nablus governorate.
Security and local sources reported to the official agency that occupation jeeps invaded the village of Kafr Qalil south of Nablus, assaulted a citizen, causing him bruises, after which he was transferred to the hospital for treatment. The occupation forces also searched several homes, conducted field investigations, and arrested five citizens: Ahmad Amer, Thaer Mansour Abu Karam, Saher Bassem Abdul Latif, Wael Adli Adel Amer, and Yusuf Hassan Yaseen Diyab, while the campaign continues as this report is being prepared.
The sources added that the occupation forces also raided the villages of Tal southwest of Nablus, Asira al-Shamaliyah to the north, and Qusra to the south, invading several homes there, searching them, and messing with their contents. They arrested citizens: Diaa Yaser Taleb Hamad, Nasr al-Din Abd al-Nasser Asida from the town of Tal, Izz al-Din Suwalmeh from Asira al-Shamaliyah, and five citizens from the village of Qusra: Muhammad Fadi Abdullah, Nour Abdulilah Abu Rida, Hamza Haj Ali, Amir Jawad Jamil, and Ahmad Sa'id Hasan.
Hebron
Israeli occupation forces arrested Taysir Abu Sneina, the mayor of Hebron, today, Tuesday, as well as a young man from the town of Yatta south of Hebron, as part of a widespread raid campaign targeting different areas in the governorate.
Security and local sources stated that the occupation forces raided the mayor's home in the city of Hebron, searched it after breaking doors and messing with its contents, before arresting him and transferring him to an unknown location.
The occupation forces also arrested Yazan Abu Qubeita from the town of Yatta after raiding and searching his home and tampering with its contents.
In a related context, the occupation forces raided the towns of Halhul and Idhna west of Hebron, detaining dozens of citizens after raiding their homes and subjecting them to field investigations.
Additionally, the occupation forces tightened their military measures in Hebron governorate, setting up several checkpoints at the entrances to the city and its towns, villages, and camps, and closed several main and secondary roads with iron gates, concrete blocks, and earth mounds.
Bethlehem
Israeli occupation forces arrested a young man from the Deheisheh refugee camp south of Bethlehem today, Tuesday.
Security sources reported that the occupation forces arrested young man Muhammad Ahmad al-Jafri (27 years old) after raiding and searching his family's home.
Qalqiliya
Israeli occupation forces arrested two young men from the village of Kafr Thulth south of Qalqiliya today, Tuesday.
Local sources reported that the occupation forces raided the village from its main entrance, conducted raids on citizens' homes, and arrested the two young men Hassan Shawahna and Faiq Oda, after searching their homes and tampering with their contents.
In the same context, a military force raided the city of Qalqiliya from its eastern entrance and spread in the "Dawaween" area and Wadi street, before withdrawing after about two hours, without recording any arrests.
Ramallah
Israeli occupation forces arrested a young man from the village of Lubban al-Gharbi west of Ramallah this morning, Tuesday.
Security sources stated that a force from the occupation army raided the village and arrested young man Muhammad Abu Alyan (26 years old) after raiding and searching his home and tampering with its contents.
Tulkarm
Israeli occupation forces arrested a citizen from the town of Bal'a east of Tulkarm this morning, Tuesday, following a wide-scale raid they carried out in the town.
Local sources reported that several military vehicles, accompanied by a bulldozer and police dogs, participated in the raid of the town, where occupation soldiers stormed dozens of homes and shops after breaking their doors and searching them, leading to destruction of their contents and vandalism of citizens' properties.
The sources added that occupation forces arrested Thair al-Najjar from his home while detaining several citizens and subjecting them to field investigations before releasing them later.
The bulldozer also destroyed parts of the town's streets, causing significant damage to the infrastructure at several locations.
This raid comes amidst the ongoing assault by the occupation on the city of Tulkarm and its refugee camps for the 219th consecutive day, amid tightening siege and continuous assaults affecting various aspects of life.
Jenin
Israeli occupation forces arrested a young man from the town of Yamoun west of Jenin this morning, Tuesday.
Local sources reported that the occupation forces arrested young man Sharif Bashir after raiding and searching his home.
The sources added that several military vehicles raided the town, spread in its streets, while occupation soldiers raided several homes and searched them.
