Representatives of Gaza Tribes in Egypt Confirm Their Support for the Palestinian Leadership Represented by President Mahmoud Abbas

SadaNews - Representatives of the Gaza Strip tribes currently in the Arab Republic of Egypt have confirmed their support for the Palestinian leadership represented by President Mahmoud Abbas, stating that the Palestine Liberation Organization is the sole legitimate representative of the Palestinian people in all places of their presence. This came during a consultative meeting held at the Palestinian Embassy in Cairo, attended by the Palestinian Ambassador Diab Al-Louh and several embassy advisors, to discuss the social conditions of our people present in Egypt. The tribal representatives emphasized that their direction will not waver and that they will not allow the occupation's conspiracies to succeed. They affirmed that they remain in the trenches of struggle until this genocide against our people is halted, stressing that the tribes have been and will continue to be protectors of the Palestinian national project. They also emphasized that the day after the war is a distinctly Palestinian-Palestinian day, and that the State of Palestine will continue to hold full sovereignty over the Gaza Strip as an integral part of the Palestinian national geography and political system. They confirmed their support for a unified political governance through a single authority, one law, and one legitimate weapon. For his part, Ambassador Al-Louh briefed the attendees, including dignitaries, elders, reform leaders, prominent families, and community figures who came from the Gaza Strip to Egypt during the genocide war waged by the occupation against our people, on the latest political developments and updates, as well as the efforts exerted by the Palestinian leadership headed by President Mahmoud Abbas to achieve an immediate and sustainable cessation of hostilities and to gather international recognition of the State of Palestine. He emphasized the need for reform leaders and prominent figures to play a role in mending societal ties and strengthening the Palestinian social fabric while maintaining and enhancing the relationship with the brotherly Egyptian people, pointing out that Egypt has hosted more than 100,000 citizens who have come from the Gaza Strip, in addition to the resident Palestinian community, which is estimated at half a million people, along with 13,000 university students, 25,000 school children, and nearly 18,000 companions for medical cases. He stated, "We are going through a pivotal and difficult phase, but we will continue our work, and the fate of the Palestinian people cannot be decided in the absence of the Palestinian people, regardless of what happens. History cannot turn back, and the world has become more convinced that the solution lies in recognizing the State of Palestine and ending the occupation." Ambassador Al-Louh conveyed the greetings of President Mahmoud Abbas to the attendees for their authentic positions and their work under the umbrella of the Palestine Liberation Organization, the sole legitimate representative of our people. The attendees called for the necessity of continuing their tribal and reform role and representing Palestine in a manner befitting its history in the land of the Lotus, and they appreciated their firm rejection of the occupation's plans to separate the Gaza Strip from the national geography. Ambassador Al-Louh praised the Egyptian stance, both official and popular, asserting that it has once again proven that Egypt is the main supporter and defender of the rights of the Palestinian people. The meeting participants appreciated all efforts made to achieve a ceasefire and provide aid to the Gaza Strip, and to put an end to the policies of starvation and thirst imposed by the occupation. They called on the international community and all its states and institutions to intervene urgently and effectively to halt the ongoing genocide and Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including Jerusalem, and to protect them from systematic killing and starvation.
