The Death Toll from the Occupation's Aggression on the Gaza Strip Rises to 63,557 Martyrs and 160,660 Injured
SadaNews - Medical sources announced today, Monday, that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 63,557, the majority of whom are children and women, since the onset of the Israeli occupation's aggression on October 7, 2023.
The medical sources added that the number of injuries has increased to 160,660 since the start of the aggression, while many victims remain trapped under the rubble, and rescue teams are unable to reach them.
They noted that 98 martyrs and 404 injured individuals have reached hospitals in the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours, while the death toll and number of injuries since March 18, following the occupation's violation of the ceasefire agreement, stands at 11,426 martyrs and 48,619 injured.
It was clarified that among those who reached hospitals in the past 24 hours, there were 46 martyrs from aid workers and 239 injuries, bringing the total number of martyrs among those who reached hospitals to 2,294, and injuries to 16,839.
Gaza Strip hospitals recorded during the past 24 hours 9 new deaths due to famine and malnutrition, including 3 children, raising the total number of deaths to 348, among them 127 children.
