Britain Imposes Restrictions on Israeli Participation in Annual Military Exhibition

Translation by SadaNews - Britain has imposed restrictions on Israeli participation in a military exhibition held annually in the country, featuring hundreds of nations showcasing their advanced weaponry.

According to Channel 12 in Israel, as translated by SadaNews, Britain has informed Israel of its decision to prevent any official delegation from participating in the exhibition to be held in London from September 9 to 12, due to the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip. It noted that private Israeli companies would still be allowed to participate in the exhibition.

The Israeli Ministry of Defense stated in a press release that the decision was made unilaterally to restrict the participation of Israeli government and military officials in the DSEI UK 2025 exhibition.

The ministry considered this move to be "offensive and shameful, deliberately taken against representatives of Israel," indicating that it was decided not to participate fully in the exhibition and to refrain from establishing an official pavilion, while providing all necessary support to Israeli industry companies participating in the event.

The statement read: "This decision comes at a time when the State of Israel is waging war on multiple fronts simultaneously against extremist Islamic elements threatening Western nations and international shipping routes. By doing so, Britain chooses a step that serves extremists, legitimizes terrorism, and is based on political considerations that go beyond the professional and acceptable framework for security exhibitions worldwide." according to its statement.
