Zamir from Tulkarm: Work in Refugee Camps in the West Bank is Essential to Uproot 'Terrorism' from its Roots
Translation by SadaNews - Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir said on Friday that his forces are working on all fronts with responsibility and constant vigilance, and that there is no front that they have not operated in over the past two years.
This came during his incursion into Tulkarm and monitoring the operations of his forces and their meeting.
Zamir stated, as translated by SadaNews, "Our mission in the West Bank is clear: to thwart 'terrorism' and protect the settlements. As is the case on all fronts, we do not wait; rather, we thwart the threat before it escalates and strike 'terrorism' wherever it is, deepening our operational response to each front," he said.
He added, "The campaign is ongoing, and we are expanding our operations in Gaza. We are committed to acting responsibly and are on high alert on all fronts."
He continued, "Working in the refugee camps is essential and important... you are uprooting the roots of 'terrorism' and ensuring it does not grow again... there is no place today in the West Bank that cannot be accessed; we must be everywhere, at the right time to prevent attacks and continue allowing operational freedom of action," as he described.
He went on: "We are focusing on identifying the locations of 'terrorists' in the Benjamin region (Ramallah) after the attack that occurred yesterday, and we will continue to work in the area with the aim of thwarting any form of 'terrorism', and we will use all operational and intelligence means until we capture the 'terrorists'," according to his statement.
