Israeli Communications Minister on the Vision of "Greater Israel": "There Will Be No Palestinian State"
Translation by SadaNews - Israeli Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi published a tweet on the "X" platform this evening, Thursday, confirming that Israel is committed to sovereignty over the West Bank, which he considers part of the vision of "Greater Israel."
Karhi, a member of the Likud party, did not directly speak about "Greater Israel," but hinted at it by discussing the two banks of the Jordan River (the West Bank and historical Jordan today).
Karhi was commenting, as translated by SadaNews, on international criticism of the settlement construction plan in the E1 area, which he described the approval of as a "historic and unparalleled fair decision," indicating that Benjamin Netanyahu has been waiting for this moment for decades. He added, "No one will stand in our way to achieve our right, this is the beginning of sovereignty."
He stated, "This is the land of our ancestors... this is the heart of the Land of Israel, a vital strategic artery for the security of Jerusalem and Jewish settlement in Judea and Samaria (the West Bank)... With God's help, we will establish thousands of housing units here, and we will continue to strengthen settlement throughout the country." As he described.
He continued: "The two banks of the Jordan River, this one is ours and that one also, and the West Bank is primarily ours... There will be no Palestinian state between the Jordan and the sea, and as our leader says: If there are those who are willing to roll up their sleeves, let them roll up their sleeves." Concluding with: "Sovereignty now!".
