Abu Rudainah: All Settlement Projects Are Illegal and We Warn of the Consequences of the Occupation's Aggression on Gaza
SadaNews - The official spokesperson for the Palestinian presidency, Nabil Abu Rudainah, expressed his strong condemnation and rejection of the approval by the subcommittee for settlement under the Israeli occupation authorities for the construction of 3,400 new settlement units in the E1 area.
Abu Rudainah stated in a declaration today, Wednesday, that this plan violates international law and international legitimacy resolutions, particularly Resolution No. (2334), which affirmed that all settlement activities are illegal, whether in the Gaza Strip or in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.
The official spokesperson said that the occupation authorities are challenging the countries of the world that have issued statements of condemnation and warnings against proceeding with this settlement plan, considering it a dangerous escalation that will lead to a complete separation of the northern West Bank from the southern part.
Abu Rudainah held the Israeli occupation government fully responsible for the consequences of these aggressive policies, which will lead to an explosion throughout the region.
The official spokesperson of the presidency urged the U.S. administration to intervene immediately to stop this Israeli recklessness and to compel it to halt its comprehensive war against the Palestinian people, whether through the continuation of genocidal warfare, especially with the Israeli threat to expand aggression against our people in the Gaza Strip, or its assaults in the West Bank, the rise of settler terrorism there, and to stop the attacks on the sacred Islamic and Christian religious sites, as well as the release of Palestinian funds.
