A Strict Penalty Awaits Badreya Talab after Investigation

SadaNews - The Board of Directors of the Egyptian Actors Syndicate, led by artist Ashraf Zaki, has scheduled an investigative session with actress Badreya Talab for next Wednesday, following some transgressions she made during a live broadcast on TikTok.

A source from within the Actors Syndicate revealed in a special statement to "Al Arabiya.net" and "Al Hadath.net" that the Syndicate's Board proposed to hire a legal advisor from the State Council to take on the investigation with the actress, instead of relying solely on the legal affairs officials within the Syndicate.

The source indicated that the proposal was accepted by the board members, necessitating that a legal advisor handle the investigation with Badreya Talab to ensure that the procedures are conducted with complete transparency and without any doubt.

The expected penalty for actress Badreya Talab is anticipated to be a suspension for 6 months, which could extend to a full year, depending on the discretion of the investigation committee. There is also a possibility of imposing a financial fine should she be convicted.

The source confirmed that recent rumors about preventing Badreya Talab from acting entirely are untrue, and the incident attributed to her does not warrant her expulsion from the Syndicate.

Inappropriate Language and Referral for Investigation

The artist Ashraf Zaki, head of the Egyptian Actors Syndicate, decided to refer actress Badreya Talab for investigation due to the inappropriate comments made during a live broadcast on her personal TikTok account, where she attacked followers with indecent language.

The Actors Syndicate issued an official statement noting: "The Board of the Egyptian Artistic Professions Syndicate, under the leadership of artist Ashraf Zaki, has decided to urgently refer actress Badreya Talab for investigation, by unanimous agreement of the board members, due to her blatant transgressions, and all legal procedures will be taken against any artist who violates the ethical code of honor."

Badreya Talab had responded to accusations of being involved in organ trafficking during a live broadcast.

The actress, known for her comedic roles, explained during a live broadcast on her Facebook account that there are targeted campaigns against her on social media aimed at tarnishing her reputation through the spread of rumors.

She added: "They spread rumors about my arrest on charges of killing my late husband and selling his organs. They think it's my turn after Wafaa Amer."

She continued: "I am here in my home, and I am indeed suing the woman behind this strange rumor."

Badreya described the rumor spreaders as "sick," and she used some inappropriate words that drew criticism from some.

She also confirmed that these rumors have affected her reputation and impacted her and her family, stating that her artistic career and the right of her audience compel her to come forward to defend herself against all of these rumors.

She emphasized that she will not overlook all the rumors that have targeted her, particularly as they have affected her reputation, and she stressed that she will sue anyone who has wronged her.
