Zamir: We Face a Multi-Front War and Adopt a New Strategy
SadaNews Translation - Eyal Zamir, Chief of Staff of the Israeli army, stated this evening, Wednesday, that he approved plans for the occupation of Gaza this morning, while operations continue in Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, and the West Bank, with ongoing monitoring of the situation in Iran.
Zamir confirmed from the Lebanese border during a tour there, as translated by SadaNews, that Israel is facing a multi-front war, launching initiatives of its own to conduct attacks. He pointed out that efforts are underway to thwart all threats in all fronts after identifying and eliminating them.
He indicated that his army is currently adopting an offensive approach to confront all challenges, based on a new strategic vision that does not allow any "enemy" to grow.
He mentioned that his forces have succeeded in changing the security situation on the northern front, considering what has occurred in Lebanon as unprecedented achievements, noting that since the ceasefire, more than 240 militants have been eliminated, and around 600 airstrikes have been carried out.
