Qatar's Foreign Ministry Comments on Targeting Journalists: "The Crimes Committed in Gaza Have Exceeded All Expectations"
SadaNews - The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, stated that the targeting of journalists in the Gaza Strip demonstrates to the world that the crimes committed by Israel "have exceeded all expectations."
Bin Abdul Rahman spoke about the martyrdom of 6 journalists, including the correspondents of Al Jazeera, Anas Al Sharif and Mohammed Qareqea, and 4 photojournalists, saying, "The deliberate targeting of journalists does not obscure the horrific facts systematically committed by Israel in the Gaza Strip. Rather, it shows the entire world that the crimes being committed in Gaza have exceeded all expectations."
He pointed to the "inability of the international community and its laws to stop this tragedy."
On the night of Sunday to Monday, the Israeli army bombed a tent near Al-Shifa Hospital in west Gaza City, assassinating the six journalists, raising the toll of journalist martyrs since the beginning of the genocide in Gaza to 238.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel, with U.S. support, has been committing genocide in Gaza, including killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring all international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to cease.
