Settlers Establish New Outpost in the Village of Shalal Al-Aouja North of Jericho
SadaNews - Today, Sunday, settlers established a new colonial outpost in the village of Shalal Al-Aouja, north of Jericho.
The General Supervisor of the Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouins and Targeted Villages, Hassan Mlihate, reported that settlers established a new colonial outpost in the village of Shalal Al-Aouja this evening, bringing with them "Zinc" plates, "Caravans," and construction tools, and they also seized a caravan intended for housing belonging to a displaced family.
Mlihate confirmed that this step comes as part of an expansionist colonial policy aimed at displacing Palestinian residents and threatening security and stability in the area.
He added that settlers are raiding the village of Shalal Al-Aouja day and night, harassing the residents by grazing their livestock among their homes and cutting off their water supply, in a clear attempt to increase pressure on them.
Mlihate emphasized that these practices constitute a blatant violation of international law and a direct threat to the rights of the indigenous population in their lands, calling on the international community to take urgent action to stop these violations that increase the suffering of Palestinian citizens. He also urged all human rights and humanitarian organizations to stand in solidarity with the residents of the village of Shalal Al-Aouja and support them in confronting these aggressions.
