Martyrdom of a Young Man Due to His Wounds from Occupation Fire in Jericho
SadaNews: Young man Abdullah Muhammad Atiyat (25 years old) was martyred this morning, Sunday, due to critical wounds he sustained from occupation fire in the city of Jericho on Saturday evening.
Local sources reported that Atiyat was transferred early this morning from Jericho Government Hospital to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem due to the seriousness of his health condition, until his martyrdom was announced this morning.
It is mentioned that occupation soldiers fired at Atiyat during their incursion into Al-Hisham Palace Street in the center of the city, which led to his injury in the upper part of his body, where his condition was then described as critical.
The occupation forces had stormed several streets and neighborhoods in Jericho yesterday evening while live ammunition was fired.
It is noteworthy that martyr Atiyat was from the city of Nazareth within the 1948 territories and was on a recreational trip in Jericho.
