Paris Welcomes Lebanese Government's 'Courageous and Historic' Decision to Disarm Hezbollah
SadaNews - French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot congratulated Lebanon on the "courageous and historic decision" taken by its government this week to disarm Hezbollah, considering that "this decision will allow the cedar country to progress towards full sovereignty."
In a post on the "X" platform, Barrot welcomed the decision issued by a "strong state, monopolizing legitimate power, capable of ensuring the protection of all sects, rebuilding a country devastated by war and economic crisis, and ensuring the integrity of its territories within agreed borders with its neighbors."
