Artist Mohamed Mounir Hospitalized Due to Kidney and Liver Problems
SadaNews - The Egyptian artist Mohamed Mounir has suffered a severe health crisis, which necessitated his admission to a private hospital in Sheikh Zayed City in the south of the country.
A close source to Mounir revealed that his health condition is unstable, as he is suffering from the same crisis that led to his hospitalization several months ago, which involves kidney and liver issues.
The source also added that Mounir was supposed to undergo regular medical follow-ups, but his engagement in recording his new album kept him from that follow-up until his condition deteriorated significantly, prompting his family members to transfer him to the hospital.
Additionally, the artist's management released a statement via his official Facebook page, stating that "due to the health setback faced by the great star Mohamed Mounir, who was hospitalized accordingly, the concert for the New Alamein Festival scheduled for August 16 of this month has been postponed, and he is currently continuing his treatment."
It is expected that Mounir will resume his artistic activity after his recovery, and he will complete the recording of his new album, having recently released the song "Ana Aladhi" and previously a duet "Al-Dhauk Al-Aali" with star Tamer Hosny.
