Iran Executes Mossad Spy
SadaNews - Iranian authorities announced on Wednesday the execution of a person convicted of spying for Israel and providing information about a nuclear scientist who was assassinated during the recent war between Tehran and Tel Aviv last June.
The website "Mizan Online" affiliated with the Iranian judiciary reported that the individual named Roozbeh Vadi was executed after the judicial proceedings were completed and the Supreme Court upheld the sentence against him.
The website clarified that Vadi was convicted of leaking intelligence information "about an Iranian nuclear scientist who was assassinated during the recent Zionist aggression," referring to the twelve-day war that erupted between Iran and Israel in June 2025.
Iranian authorities did not disclose additional details regarding the identity of the targeted scientist or the nature of the information that was transmitted, but the case comes amid escalating security tensions between Tehran and Tel Aviv, which have witnessed unprecedented direct confrontations between the two sides in recent months.
