Foreign Ministry: The Terrorism of Settlers Calls for Deterrent International Sanctions

SadaNews - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates stated that the occupying government is racing against time to thwart the international consensus on the necessity of implementing the two-state solution and enabling the State of Palestine to exercise its political and legal authority over the Palestinian territories occupied since 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital, by insisting on prolonging the acts of genocide and displacement in the Gaza Strip.

The Foreign Ministry warned in a statement issued today, Sunday, about the danger of the occupation's violation of the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and the colonial terrorists' use of live ammunition during their attacks on Palestinian citizens under the protection and supervision of the occupation army. It also raised concerns about the provocative marches in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem led by the extremist minister Ben Gvir, who also participated this morning in incursions into the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

It added that Ben Gvir's incursion confirms that the schemes of colonial racism that our people are facing fall within the framework of an official government policy aimed at liquidating the Palestinian cause and our people's rights, as well as thwarting the unprecedented international official and popular momentum to stop acts of genocide, displacement, and starvation immediately, and to end the Israeli occupation of the land of the State of Palestine.

It indicated that it is following the crimes of the settlers and what our people in the Gaza Strip are facing on all international levels, and it is working to maximize the international momentum supporting the Palestinian cause to implement the advisory opinion issued by the International Court of Justice and to immediately halt acts of genocide, displacement, starvation, and annexation.

It called on all countries and the United Nations Security Council to bear their legal and moral responsibilities in stopping the occupation's violations against our people and to take the necessary measures and sanctions to protect them and safeguard their opportunity to exercise their right to self-determination.
