The Martyrdom of 60 Individuals, Half of Them Aid Seekers
SadaNews - More than 60 people were martyred in the Gaza Strip, killed by the fire of the Israeli occupation army on Friday, with nearly half of them being aid seekers, according to health sources and hospitals in the region.
"Human Rights Watch" confirmed that "the US-backed Israeli army and contractors established a defective military system for distributing aid in Gaza," noting that it has "turned into regular bloodbaths."
They added that the occupation forces regularly open fire on the starving at US-backed aid distribution points, emphasizing that the "dire humanitarian situation is a direct result of Israel's use of starvation of civilians as a weapon of war."
On Thursday, the Hamas movement confirmed its readiness "to immediately engage in new ceasefire negotiations if aid is delivered to those in need in the Gaza Strip and the worsening humanitarian crisis is addressed," warning that continued negotiations amid famine renders them meaningless.
