
UAE Establishes Independent Water Pipeline from Egypt to Gaza with Israeli Approval
Translation by SadaNews - Official Israeli sources have announced that the United Arab Emirates will begin in the coming days to establish an independent water pipeline from a desalination facility in Egypt to the Mawasi area in the Gaza Strip, with the approval of the political level in Israel.
The pipeline will extend along the coast and will supply water to approximately 600,000 residents of the sector, without relying on the Israeli water network.
According to Channel 7 in Israel, as translated by SadaNews, "Today (Sunday), representatives from the UAE began bringing in the necessary equipment through the Kerem Shalom crossing, under the supervision of the Israeli Civil Administration, after undergoing thorough security checks."
It added, "The implementation works are expected to take several weeks and are part of a wide-ranging humanitarian initiative."
