
Moscow: Countering Ukrainian Drone Attack
SadaNews - Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin announced the countering of a Ukrainian drone attack on the Russian capital early Sunday.
In posts on his official "Telegram" account, the Moscow mayor announced the destruction of a total of 15 Ukrainian drones launched towards the Russian capital.
At the same time, the governor of the Tula region, Dmitry Milyaev, announced the countering of the drone attack in the region.
A warning was also issued about the risk of a drone attack in Ivanovo Oblast in the early hours of Sunday.
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the downing of 40 Ukrainian drones over various Russian regions between 20:00 and 23:30 Moscow time on Saturday evening.
It clarified that 21 drones were shot down over Bryansk Oblast, 9 over Kaluga Oblast, and 4 over Moscow Oblast, including two drones that were specifically heading towards the capital.
Two drones were also shot down over Kursk Oblast, two others over the Black Sea, and one over each of Tula and Belgorod Oblasts.
