Egyptian, Qatari, and Israeli Talks in Cairo Regarding the Situation in Gaza

SadaNews - Egyptian, Qatari, and Israeli meetings are being held in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, to discuss the details of delivering humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, the exit of patients, and the return of stranded individuals.

According to the Cairo News Channel, the meetings are witnessing progress and agreement on several issues related to the humanitarian aspect of the ceasefire agreement, and they will last for two days.

These meetings come as part of Egypt's earnest efforts to overcome obstacles to reaching an agreement and its commitment to providing sufficient and appropriate assistance to the citizens of the Gaza Strip, as reported by the channel.

Earlier yesterday, sources confirmed to "Cairo News" that the head of the Egyptian intelligence, Major General Hassan Rashad, held meetings with the Qatari Prime Minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, and delegations from the Palestinian and Israeli negotiating teams.

The sources added that the meetings aim to advance current efforts to establish a ceasefire and to remove obstacles hindering an agreement, noting that Egypt and Qatar agree on the importance of reaching an agreement for a ceasefire in Gaza, the provision of aid, and the release of prisoners and detainees.

The sources clarified that Egyptian, Qatari, and U.S. mediators are intensifying their communications and meetings with all parties to push efforts for a ceasefire in Gaza.

The Hebrew Channel 13 reported this evening that an Israeli delegation has returned from Cairo after two days of talks there.
