The Network of Civil Organizations: "No to Partnership with the Oppressor.. Yes to Accountability and Justice"

SadaNews - While the Israeli occupation state continues its horrific crimes against the Palestinian people, from systematic genocide in the Gaza Strip to ethnic cleansing and gradual annexation of lands in the West Bank and Arab countries in Syria and Lebanon, we see dangerous attempts to whitewash the image of the occupation through superficial steps that promote fake partnerships and dialogues.
We, the Network of Palestinian Civil Organizations, declare the following:
1. Our absolute rejection of any conferences or events conducted under the banner of "partnership" or "dialogue" with the occupation state, especially those organized with European or Arab participation, such as the "Partnership Conference with the Southern Neighbouring Countries of the European Union," which takes place while Israel is being prosecuted before the International Court of Justice for genocide charges, continues to use food and medicine as weapons of war, and systematically violates international humanitarian law.
2. We call on the Palestinian government and Arab states to boycott these events and take a clear stance that aligns with the suffering of our people and the duty to defend their rights. It is unacceptable to hold meetings to normalize relations with a state that occupies our lands, kills our children, and violates our sanctities daily, and which has expanded its aggression and occupation to seize new Arab lands in recent months.
3. We demand that the European Union assume its moral and legal responsibilities by:
a) Immediately suspending the Euro-Israeli partnership agreement and imposing sanctions on Israel for its severe violations of international law, including war crimes and genocide.
b) Ceasing to fund the crimes of occupation directly or indirectly, and investigating the complicity of European companies in supporting settlement activities and the Israeli military machine while enforcing an arms embargo on the Israeli occupation, including both the purchase and transit through the territories of European countries.
4) We warn against attempts to deceive global public opinion through promotional steps aimed at misleading the international community into thinking that "life is normal" amid genocide crimes. There can be no partnership with those who kill children and destroy hospitals, and there can be no dialogue with those who implement ethnic cleansing policies.
5) We reaffirm that the only way to achieve just peace begins with ending the occupation, holding the perpetrators of crimes accountable, and guaranteeing the Palestinian people's right to self-determination and return.
Our call to the living consciences:
To all popular movements, global civil society, and to the free people of the Arab world and Europe: The time has come to translate your humanitarian positions into pressing action. The Palestinian people need concrete steps to enforce international law to prosecute the occupation and force it to comply with international law.
