IAEA: Germany Capable of Producing Nuclear Weapons Within Months
SadaNews - The International Atomic Energy Agency announced that Germany is capable of producing nuclear weapons within months.
IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi confirmed that Germany possesses the technical capacity and raw materials necessary to develop a nuclear weapon in just a few months.
Grossi made this statement in an interview with the Polish newspaper Rzeczpospolita, basing his remarks on several facts.
He added: "In terms of civilian nuclear capabilities, Germany has advanced nuclear infrastructure that includes research reactors and uranium enrichment centers, such as the Jülich facility, which could theoretically produce militarily usable materials."
Grossi noted the historical context, saying that during World War II, Nazi Germany attempted to develop a nuclear weapon through the "Uranium" project led by Werner Heisenberg, but they failed due to a lack of resources and time. Today, however, Germany has experts in nuclear engineering and advanced manufacturing capabilities.
