Hamas Gives Abu Shabab 10 Days to Surrender
SadaNews: The Revolutionary Court affiliated with the Military Judiciary of the Ministry of Interior in Gaza has given the accused Yasir Abu Shabab 10 days - starting from this Wednesday, July 2, 2025 - to surrender himself to the relevant authorities for trial before the judicial bodies.
The Revolutionary Court stated in a press release that the decision comes in accordance with the provisions of the Palestinian Penal Code No. 16 of 1960 and the Revolutionary Procedures Law of 1979.
The Revolutionary Court has charged Abu Shabab with three offenses, namely treason and collaboration with hostile entities contrary to the text of Article (131), forming an armed gang contrary to the text of Article (176), and armed rebellion contrary to the text of Article (168).
The court emphasized that if Abu Shabab does not comply and surrender, he will be considered a fugitive from justice and tried in absentia. It called on anyone who knows of his whereabouts to report him, otherwise they will be considered an accomplice to a fugitive criminal.
Security authorities in Gaza have been pursuing Abu Shabab - born on February 27, 1990 - since the end of last year for forming an armed gang collaborating with the occupation, taking refuge in the eastern areas of Rafah governorate controlled by the Israeli army.
