An-Najah National University is the Only Palestinian University Included in the U.S. News Best Global Universities Ranking 2025/2026

SadaNews - In a new achievement reflecting its academic and research excellence, An-Najah National University has been included in the prestigious global ranking "U.S. News Best Global Universities 2025-2026", making it the only Palestinian university listed in this high-quality classification, considered one of the most prominent global rankings alongside the "Shanghai" and "Times" rankings.

This ranking is distinguished by its use of Clarivate's global databases and relies on 13 objective metrics, including global and regional research reputation, number of publications, quality of research, international collaboration, and the number of research papers ranked among the most cited globally.

The U.S. News ranking serves as a true reflection of universities' status globally, measuring the actual impact of research production, its quality, and its dissemination, thus enhancing universities' presence on the international scientific research map.

Commenting on this achievement, Prof. Abdel Naser Zaid, the university's president, confirmed that this progress is a direct result of continuous investment in scientific research, building strategic partnerships with international institutions, and providing an academic environment that encourages excellence, pointing out that An-Najah University is committed to its strategic plan to achieve academic and research leadership both regionally and internationally.

It is worth mentioning that the U.S. News ranking was launched in 2014 for the best global universities, relying on quantitative indicators to measure research performance and academic reputation, and is regarded as one of the most relied-upon rankings in academic and research circles due to its accuracy and dependence on independent data from the Clarivate database.

This achievement represents an additional step toward enhancing the status of An-Najah National University as a prestigious scientific institution, continuing its rich record in international rankings.
