Finance Ministry: The second installment of "April salary" to be disbursed today Tuesday

SadaNews - The Ministry of Finance announced that today, Tuesday, the second installment of salaries for public employees for the month of April 2025 will be disbursed, following the first installment that was paid before the Eid al-Adha holiday, during which the April salary was calculated at 70% of the salary, with a minimum of 3,500 shekels.‎

The ministry confirms that securing the disbursement of the second installment of salaries for April came in light of complex financial conditions, due to the ongoing Israeli occupation's withholding of clearance revenues, in addition to the illegal deductions that have been continuing since 2019, which have intensified since the onset of the aggression on Gaza.

The ministry notes that, as of this moment, clearance funds for the month of April have not yet been transferred, contributing to the deepening of the financial crisis and preventing the ministry from disbursing this salary installment sooner.

The ministry affirms that the remaining due amounts as of today are liabilities owed to the employees, and they will be disbursed when financial possibilities allow.
