Tehran Sticks to Its Position.. Iraqi Confirms the Necessity of Meeting Conditions to Return to Negotiations
SadaNews - Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi confirmed today, Tuesday, that technology and science necessary for uranium enrichment cannot be eliminated through bombing.
Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated in an interview with "CBS" that "returning to negotiations requires first ensuring that the United States will not target us again," adding that "the doors of diplomacy will never close, and technology and science necessary for uranium enrichment cannot be eliminated through bombing."
Araghchi continued that "Iran's peaceful nuclear program has become a source of national pride and honor, so the people will not easily retreat from enrichment."
He added: "We have proven during the imposed war on us for 12 days that we possess the ability to defend ourselves and will continue to do so if we are subjected to any aggression."
The Iranian Foreign Ministry said on Monday that "Tehran's trust in the American side has been shaken," accusing Washington of "betraying the diplomatic path and waging a psychological war against Tehran."
Tehran demanded an end to American hostilities to resume any negotiations, emphasizing its right to enrich uranium, and warning that its armed forces are on high alert to respond firmly to any violation of the ceasefire.
