Jerusalem Governorate Water Authority Calls for Water Conservation After Temporary Suspension of Water Supply
SadaNews: The Jerusalem Governorate Water Authority announced a temporary suspension of water supply by the "Mekorot" company, which supplies the main Ramallah station, according to information provided by the supplying company. This will affect the water distribution program in most concession areas. The authority clarified in a statement that this suspension will lead to disruptions in distribution operations until water pumping from the source resumes, affirming that this situation is beyond its control. The authority urged citizens to conserve water during this period, ensuring that the available quantities reach the largest possible number of subscribers, and to help mitigate the effects of the temporary interruption. It confirmed that its teams will resume the water distribution program as soon as pumping by the supplying company is restored, noting that it will keep citizens informed of any updates promptly. The Jerusalem Governorate Water Authority also expressed its apologies to subscribers for the confusion caused by this suspension, hoping for citizens' understanding and cooperation until the supply returns to normal.
