Israel Bank: Foreign Currency Reserves Increased During April
Translation by SadaNews Economy - The Bank of Israel stated on Thursday that its foreign currency reserves reached 235.745 million US dollars by the end of April.
The bank pointed out, as translated by the SadaNews Economy section, that this total amount represents an increase of 6.326 million dollars compared to the end of the previous March.
It clarified that the ratio of reserves to GDP stood at 38.4%.
The bank attributed this increase primarily to the revaluation of foreign currency reserves amounting to approximately 7467 million dollars.
It noted that this increase was partially offset by government foreign exchange operations amounting to approximately 1154 million dollars.
